Dave Baron, PGA Master Professional, was named Head Golf Professional for The Island Country Club in 2011.

He previously served as Director of Instruction for The First Tee of Greater Austin, has instructed for The First Tee National Academy from 2002-2010 and was named 2003 Teacher of the Year by the Western Chapter Southern Texas PGA.  

A PGA member since 1989, Dave was named Louisiana PGA Golf Professional of the Year in 1998 and has been a member of the PGA President’s Council since 2003.
